PORTUGUESE TRADITIONAL TAPAS

To share the finest flavors and secrets of Portugal, Tábua Rasa is a celebration of our origins, traditions, culture, and gastronomic heritage, treating each product with the care and respect it truly deserves. The credit goes to the men and women who dedicate their lives to crafting iconic products that inspire passion. They are the ones who herd sheep through carefully selected pastures. They are the ones who patiently wait for the long months of curing a fine ham. They are the ones who carry in their hands the knowledge—and the flavors—of ancient traditions, ensuring their continuity. Tábua Rasa serves as the ultimate bridge between Portugal’s best-kept secrets and the world

TIMEOUT MARKET

When it comes to cheese, Portugal remains one of the world's best-kept secrets, offering exceptional quality, variety, and diversity that reflect the unique terroirs of each region. Our selection of more than twenty types of Portuguese cheese showcases some of the finest examples, covering different regions, milk types, textures, and intensities. Among them are Queijo da Serra, Terrincho Velho, Queijo Amarelo da Beira Baixa, Azeitão, Niza, Ilha de São Miguel, Ilha de São Jorge, Cabra da Beira Baixa, and Queijo de Cabra Transmontano Velho—just to name a few.

From our own brand, we highlight the award-winning Seia sheep milk cheese, a true hallmark of Tábua Rasa!

We work with the finest Portuguese cured meats and smoked delicacies, sourced from north to south of the country. The meat comes from protected and native breeds, raised in a natural, free-range environment, with products crafted using traditional artisanal curing methods.

Among the chorizos, the Tábua Rasa traditional smoked chorizo, sourced from the Minho region, stands out. We also offer the wonderful Alentejan chorizos, turkey chorizo, and onion chorizo.

Among our cured hams, the Iberian black pork ham, aged for over two years, stands out. Additionally, we offer a diverse selection of cachaços, pork loins, paios, salpicões, and more.

Tinned fish is one of Portugal’s oldest traditions, deeply rooted in our gastronomic history since 1855 and serving as a timeless reflection of our connection to the sea. At Tábua Rasa, we elevate tinned fish to a level of gastronomic distinction, offering tastings of the finest preserves and creative reinterpretations inspired by traditional cuisine.

From the Tábua Rasa brand, the sardines, codfish, mackerel, and tuna stand out.

WE BRING YOU THE RESULT OF AN INTENSIVE SEARCH FOR PORTUGAL'S HIDDEN SECRETS, THE FINEST TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS, AND ARTISAN PRODUCERS.

CHEESES, CHARCUTERIE, TINNED FISH

In line with our mission and philosophy, we present a selection of 100% Portuguese wines from various demarcated regions, showcasing and celebrating the diversity of terroirs. Our focus is on natural and low-intervention wines, prioritizing small producers who craft limited editions using traditional methods and native grape varieties. The result is a collection of remarkable, high-quality wines that stand apart from mainstream commercial circuits. This includes our very own Tábua Rasa wine, sourced from a small-scale production in the Dão region, made with traditional grape varieties and carefully designed to pair perfectly with our cheeses and cured meats.

IN A PORTUGUESE HOME, THERE ARE SURE TO BE GOOD WINES ON THE TABLE
